Exactly what the subject line says, iTunes keeps opening itself up this morning. It was fine last night, then I opened up the ibook from sleep and iTunes opened itself. I didn't think much of it this morning, but its doing it at work as well. I restarted my ibook, and still... iTunes just keeps opening itself up.
anyone heard of this happening?

iTunes can't open itself. Close the iTunes Dashboard and/or Konfabulator widget.

Tetenal >> no itunes widgets or menulings running. I realize it houldn't open itself, but it is on my system, and I can't figure out why. All I did on the ibook yesterday was invoices in excel, listened to a few podcasts, and monitored the hurricane in safari. This morning I opened up the iBook, awakening it from sleep, to type a letter in word, and iTunes kept opening. Also, I always quit iTunes each night.... and last night, I had quit it.
fisherKing >> nope, not in login items

I was seeing the magical iTunes a few days ago myself. But in my case I "cured" it by removing the iTunes widget from the Dashboard.

just a thought, maybe the iPod settings in iTunes "auto open when iPod connected..." Not that it SHOULD but it might even though there's no iPod connected at the time...or is there?
