I use this view as I get a lot of forum notifications form many forums. It's easier to track posts and other email.

My problem is, some of the email in the "thread" are not correct. For example, I get a lot of emails from DIFFERENT people saying "Hi", "Hello", etc. in the subject line. Mail has grouped these all into one thread. Is there any way to keep the thread view, yet fix the threads that aren't grouped correctly? Any rules I can make? Anything? Please help.

You could always make a rule+mailbox/smart mailbox (depending on your version of Mail) for each forum that you get email from and then sort by thread within that mailbox. Of course, this is assuming that the forum notifications all come from the same domain or have some standard string in the subject line that would allow you to filter them.

I'm not a fan of thread view... well I am a fan, just not of its implementation in Mail. Basically because mine does not work, if it threads a discussion, and I view any emails in that discussion, Mail locks up on me, and my emails disappear until I force quit Mail.
