The first time I opened the app Sherlock it worked great, now I've opened it up and only a few of the search functions actually work. I had a friend look on his Mac and his is doing the same. Has anyone had an issue with Sherlock or know what could be causing it to not work. Example when you click on flights it does not bring up any search criteria to start your search. Internet just says "Loading". I've tried turning off my firewall to see if that was the issue but that didn't change anything.

Thank in Advance

I too was having problems much as you have described. Finally, I found this on an Apple Discussion Forum (since locked). But it worked for me:

Navigate to your user folder/library/caches/sherlock/web foundation.

Open the web foundation folder and press command a (for select all).

Drag all of the selected contents to the trash and empty the trash.

Navigate back to user folder/library/caches/sherlock/web foundation and select the web foundation folder. Press command i (for get info).

In the get info window, check "locked".

Launch Sherlock and all of the previously working channels should load and continue to do so. When you quit the program and relaunch, each channel you select will reload again (because the channels are no longer being cached).

Heatherlee, Sorry my help wasn't.

I too am now stumped. I thought everyone had the folder I referenced. You're sure you looked in the exact place I suggested (no offense intended)?

BTW, What OS version are you using?

Let's hope some kind chap or chapette will soon stop by with the real solution.
