Hi,

I know this is in the forums somewhere but the search feature does not seem to be working for me.

I downloaded Mac The Ripper and used it to rip a few dvd's onto my hd. I used DVD2oneX to "extract"(?) the files so they would be playable on the apple dvd player. I was wondering if their is a way to view the files without using DVD2oneX? Or if their is a free/different version of software that does the same thing so I won't have to pay for DVD2oneX.

Cheers!

Choose the "Full disc extraction"-mode and you will end up with a VIDEO_TS folder that you can open in the Apple DVD player.

Mac the ripper should do the trick by itself.
DVD2oneX is for getting the 7GB DVD data down to 4GB to fit on a DVDr. popcorn does the same thing. There is software that will crunch it for free but it's a major hassle. search for re-quantify.
You can take the dude out of So Cal, but you can't take the dude outta the dude, dude!
