iTunes authorisation error (400) - any thoughts?

I've just shifted my iTunes folder to a new machine. I forgot to deauthorise the old one. However, I can't access any authorisation in iTunes on the new machine - there is 'an unknown error (400)' when I try to log in.

Does anyone recognise this error?

Should have checked Apple site first. Removing specific cookies has solved it.
