I noticed that Spotlight displays thumbnails for some files (e.g. jpeg's), but not for others (e.g. pdf's), although Finder displays previews for pdf files in the preview pane.
Is there any way to make Spotlight either display thumbnails for all files for which it can generate them or not display any thumbnails at all? Also, are these thumbnails created on-the-fly, or they are stored somewhere?
