Hey Guys

I just recently had to format my powerbook, I was working and the computer froze up and then would not boot up but give me some I/O errors....
Luckily, I was able to save my pictures folder.
Now I am wondering how to get them all back in iPhoto again....I try to go into Import, but nothing comes up...it acts like it is doing something but the status bar just hangs and now I don't have any of the options on the left side bar.

Any help on this would be great.
