Select a WMV file, then Get Info (Apple+i, of fromt he menu bar). You will see a Open With option, choose what you want to open the files, then press the "always use this" (or something) button.
Im not on a mac at the moment, so cant give 100% correct instructions...

What's that plugin that plays any WMV 9/10 files (minus the DRM ones) via Quicktime, so it can play it in Safari, etc?
