What's the easiest app to use in order to make flow charts? Is it OmniGraffle or is there something smaller/cheaper/less fancy? Thanks.

I really like OmniOutliner ... it produces nice quality charts and is fairly simple to use. If you own a PowerMac or PowerBook you may have an older version already - A licensed copy of v2.x has been included on the reinstall CDs by Apple for a while. AFAIK those versions qualify for upgrade pricing for v4.0 which was recently released.

I didn't know OmniOutliner can do charts? You sure? I thought OmniGraffle.

Heh ... of course I meant to say Omnigraffle (hence ref to v4 ... OO is at v3). I use both programs, had them open in front of me, and some neurons got crossed. Good call TheIceMan

[edit] Omnigroup apparently offer a trial which is probably worth checking out here

Thanks for replies. I already have a trial version of OmniGraffle. I'm wondering if there's anything easier/smaller/cheaper/less fancy than eventually buying the real version.
