I have spent the last two days trying to find a solution. Even spent over an hour on the phone with Verizon's Tech Support.

My problem is, I can connect via FTP, even thru the Terminal, but it immediately drops me off. I get errror -421 in the terminal. I've tried Fetch, Transmit, and Interarchy. Same thing.

I go home and connect no problem thru my Comcast, with Fetch.

About an hour into my phone call with Susanne at Verizon (the evil empire) she said it was the MTU setting in my Linksys Router. I don't even have a linksys router. Then she said, well thats your problem. I have NetGear.

I have FTP set up here off of my Xserver. I FTP to my UNIX, Linux and RedHat servers all the time. Just try to stay away from MS Server 2000(+). For many apparent reasons.

I am just wondering if anyone has experience any similiar problems. And hopefully find a solution. Please help.
