I just had to sytem restore and lost all of my music, and now when I go in and try to download iTunes again it complets the instalation yet when I start it up it crashes before iTunes even opens...

All it says is: iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close.


BTW, this is on a windows machine, if you didn't notice already.

Uninstall iTunes. Restart the computer. Reinstall iTunes. Don't forget the Windows iPod software, too!

I tried that, it still says the same thing...

This is terrible, I was going to go and buy the new iPOD tomorrow, if my PC can't run iTunes, what's the use?

Maybe try installing the latest Quicktime first?
