Is it possible to purchase and browse music through Front Row?

I played with a Media Center PC the other day and found that you are able to browse and purchase songs through the Media Center interface. From what I remembered playing with an iMac at the Apple Store yesterday you cannot browse and purchase music through the Front Row Interface, you first have to download the media through iTunes and then it's possible to play it in Front Row. Can someone confirm this or am I mistaken?

You are correct. Front Row will only allow you to play what you already have on your machine.
