I have an Illustrator problem. I am taking a PDF file into Illus. (both v10 and CS) that have the degree symbols (like 32 degrees). The text of course converts to many small text lines, but what's weird is that the degree symbols are getting deleted - there is the space for them, but no text line or anything! Makes me also wonder what else is being deleted that I don't see. Is this a corrupted font issue or has anyone came across a problem similar to this?
