I'm operating on my iMac OS X version 10.3.9. Would I benifit by installing Tiger?
Used for peronal use only. I'm still rather new on Mac.

I think this could go in the "Mac OS X" forum.

http://www.apple.com/macosx/upgrade/compare.html

Apple would say you benefit from Tiger. The most noticeable different is probably Spotlight which I find very useful. Other things depend on how useful they are for you. You might benefit from Automatic, Jabber support in iChat AV, Dashboard, the dictionary, etc. or you might not. Depends on how you use your Mac.

For the vast majority (we've done polls here), Tiger is faster, more stable and offers many more features. As with any OS, there are bugs and some people have had issues but Tiger raises the bar on OS X and you should consider, imo, upgrading and getting the most out of your system.

For more detailed comments, you would need to give us more info, type of computer, ram, exactly what you use it for, etc.

Do a search in the MacOS X forum, please.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
