Why the hell does Entourage not actually do anything when you lose your connection to an exchange server? It puts a little '(Not connected)' next to your account name in the folder list, and that's it. Most of the time I don't even know that the email server's down (and it goes down quite a lot, thank you very much Siemens SolutionOne) until someone complains to me that they can't send email. Usually that takes about 5-10 minutes which is 5-10 minutes in which I could have been on the phone with our hosting company making them fix it.

Is it so much to ask that it pop up an alert, or make the dock icon jump or something?
