i use synk regularly to sync files b/t my pc desktop (winxp) and my powerbook (10.4.3). i've noticed that sometimes files or folders will transfer over to my powerbook, but not actually appear in the finder because when i go through the directories to find them they are not there. i can search for the files/folders using spotlight, and once i hit cmd-i or cmd-r in the search results window, the files/folder will magically appear in the finder and directories where they belong.
can anyone tell me what might be causing this strange behavior and how i might correct this?
