I recently switched from windoze.
when I was shopping for a mac ,I played with one at the store.'
It had thismusic App(NOT iTUNES!) on it that allowed me to make playlists
that lined up on the right side
and crossfade songs
if a dragged them to the bottom........

not I want the app

can someone

name that app?

I know this isn't going to be instant gratification, but the best way would be just to go back to the store where you played with the Mac and see what application it was.

Have you searched Versiontracker.com and macupdate.com yet?

Those two sites should always be your very first stop when searching for Mac apps.

could it possibly have been Garageband? http://www.apple.com/ilife/garageband/

I can't imagine they would have a non standard OS X App on a apple store machine...

It may have been Final Cut, which is a video editor, but you can add music in. Either that or Soundtrack or GarageBand. I doubt Apple would have any apps on the computers in their stores that compete with their apps in the music areas.

It might have been something a customer downloaded and ran. The machines at Apple stores are returned to a standard configuration every night.
