My Safari (which has been fine up to yesterday) now quits application when I try to login to Yahoo! Mail. Any ideas why? All else is fine with the internet with Safari, can open other bookmarks, etc.

I also have Internet Explorer and when I try to respond to an email in Explorer Yahoo mail, I cannot get reply areas, just get a message that says "unable to add event listener for click to undefined" then when I hit ok, another message that says "unable to add event listener for keypress to input"
The only thing I did different yesterday was to relauch the finder, computer wouldn't shut down.

I just downloaded Opera and when I tried to open it, it crashed too!

I work on a MAC G5 OSX version 10.2.8
Safari is V 10.3
Explorer is V 5.2 for Mac

thanks for any help!

With 10.2.8 Firefox is your best bet for a quality browser. Safari 1.0 wasn't that great, and you won't be getting any updates. What machine are you on? An update to Tiger would probably be worth it if you have more than 256MB of RAM.

Like they're saying, with Panther (10.2.x), Safari (if you look in Safari menu for "About Safari") will be 1.x. With Tiger Safari is 2.0.x something - gettin better all the time.

And a plug for min 512MB RAM: anything less is like driving a car with the emergency brake on!
