I recently bought a Mac Mini to replace my PC. I have important Quicken05 files that I need to convert over to the Mac from the PC version. The Mac version of Quicken05 wouldn't recognize the PC Quicken05 files. Is there anything I can do to get these files to work on the Mac (without getting Virtual PC)?

Is it Quickbooks or Quicken? The procedure is different.

In Quicken, export the PC data to a QIF file and import on the Mac.

In Quickbooks it's similar but I forget off hand. Intuit has the steps on their web site, though.

No need for Virtual PC.

It's Quicken, I just wrote the wrong title for the thread. Sorry. The files I have are .QIF files and the Mac version will not read them.

I've never used Quicken, but I found this on their website for Quicken 2005 (also, 2006 appears to be out already.)

On the Mac are you going to the File menu and choosing Import QIF...?
