friend on a tibook, 10.3.9.
we just updated her iphoto to 5.0.4.
she is on AOL (i know, i know).
in iphoto, aol is greyed out as a choice to use for email.
i tried opening aol first, but still not showing up as available (mail.app is)
aol works for my parents (also 10.3.9).
any ideas? she'd like to be able to email from iphoto...

It'd require someone else to actually use AOL.
Can't you use AOL e-mail in Mail.app

i've got this hooked up on my parent's mac mini;
aol is an option in iphoto 5, they can email directly from the app.
on my friend's powerbook, aol is greyed out in iphoto...

Maybe try trashing the preference files or something? Re-install AOL or the good old - but we all really know it does nothing - repair permissions.
