I like gardening. Perhaps more accurately, I enjoy the results of gardening. I have been looking high and low for an app that can help me organize and plan my garden.
Not something like Vectorworks and the like. That's way too much for what I'm looking for. In price and complexity. I'm not a pro, this is just for my own use.
Not something cheesy with very limited options. Sprout! falls into this category.
Ideally it would have a database of plant characteristics which can be easily added to. It must include pictures. Furthermore, I would like it to have the ability to design the landscape/flower beds, etc. Preferably with integration with the database. (e.g. drag n drop from database)
Extra options that would be nice. 3D rendering, over time development (to view how growth effects the plan)
Does anything closely resembling my requirements exist?
If not, seems like a market niche ready to be exploited.
