I found this program for windows called idletunes which is great but I have most of my library 22.553 songs and counting on my mac. What is the equivalent mac app with these functions?
1) Find and insert album artwork into tracks
2) Copy iTunes playlists to any MP3 player
3) Export iTunes playlists as M3U, PLS, or B4S
4) Remove "dead" tracks from your library
5) Create playlists for all of the albums in your library
6) Create playlists for all of the artists in your library
7) Delete user playlists

I am particularly looking for functions 4,5 & 6!!

Thanks very much in advance!!

No one program will do all you ask.

1 - many many programs have this facility, but ones that do it automatically all cost $20 or more, try clutter, or one of the many widgets

2 - http://ilari.scheinin.fidisk.fi/itunemywalkman/

4 - can be done by reimporting your music again, you lose your play counts, but its easy.

5 and 6 are a bit pointless (imo) because you can browse by artist and by album and iTunes 6 makes this even easier.

All or most of the things iTunes doesn't cover can be done with scripts from Doug's Applescripts.

Applescript is one of the great things about the Mac, and iTunes allows you to extensively use AppleScript to help manage your iTunes library.
