This widget gets a new GOES West or GOES East satellite (US) image every 30 minutes from the NOAA website so you can see if you should go skiing tomorrow or whatever. You can set your prefs between Infrared or Visible.

I know there was a GOES widget already but it only does GOES West, so this is something I personally needed and am happy to give to all of you. It really is a good way to see whats coming without knowing anything about meteorology other than clouds usually move in an Eastward direction.

Grab your copy from: http://www.bitcastle.net/howgoesit.php

Post feedback here or use the contact form on the site. Many thanks.
