Does anyone know if it is possible to add a keyboard shortcut to the 'Comment' command (under Insert menu)? I can't seem to find the command under the customise keyboard settings and using the Keyboard System Preference Pane doesn't seem to work either.

You can do this under the Customise Keyboard menu option.

Are you using Word v.X or the one after it (2004 or whatever)?

Whoa! Spooky. I am using Word 2004 and it's there, but I checked on my laptop (Word X) and it's not. However, you can record a simple macro to insert the comment, and then assign this macro to a keystroke. I just tried it and it worked fine.

Ahh, cool philm - I'll try the macro suggestion. Never used them in Word before so didn't think of that.
