FYI, Mac OS X Hints has instructions for making Aperture run on unsupported Macs. I'd love to hear from anyone who tries this on a 20" G4 iMac or equivalent.

No dice on a Dual 1.25 G4 tower w/ 9600 card and 2GB of RAM.

Any help with this?

There are CPU and RAM hacks floating around on the net if you really want to go looking for them...

No love for the 1.0.1 update. It kills the hacks.

Fortunately for me, my iMac 20" 2.0 is supported so no prob with 1.0.1. My iBook with Radeon 9550 is also supported in 1.0.1, despite Apple's claim that it isn't in the new version of the Aperture Compatibility Checker:
