i add comments to songs (usually to identify something) and i just noticed iTunes will NOT search the comments!

however, spotlight will.

unfortunately i need to search in iTunes, and I'm even commenting through iTunes. is there a way to enable this?

iTunes will only search the things that are actually being shown. Just ctrl-click one of the headers and click "Comment."
