getting k/sec in safari d/l window

There was a way to get k/sec on items being d/l in the d/l window. I thought it was control click on the size or time remaining... This does not seem to work anymore is there another way?

it changed with one of the safari releases and the option click didn't work anymore.

i think it is depending on how big your download window is and how much space there is, whether it will show the speed or not.

It's pretty retarded of Apple to not show the download speed. Sometimes they are so backwards.
