i could do with an idiots' guide to burning a dvd - not a movie - just files that i want to give to a friend - i have iDVD and Disk Utility. But i cant work out how to burn the files on. I've gone to help and it talks about using a disk image, doesnt tell me what a disk image is though - is it a list of files named and ready to burn? it sounded like it involved copying the files on the hd first - i dont want to do that as i have about 30gb of stuff to copy and whilst i do have enough space on my hd right now, in the future when i want to do it i might not have.

so i'm looking for a real basic step-by-step instructions - i've got as far as inserting the disk into the drive up to now..

..thanks to anyone willing to spare the time to guide an idiot through it
cheers.

Step 2. Drag all the files/folders you want to burn onto the blank DVD.

Step 3. Click the Burn icon or Burn Button.

Step 4. There is no Step 4.
