I have road runner spoke to road runner and verified that my road runner account is working.

I now need to know what I have to do on the osx side to make my mail receive mail again. My settings are correct and I can view my web mail. So It comes down to osx.

I have been googling and nothing has got my answer yet.

It would appear that one of your settings is incorrect.

Are you positive the incoming mail server is correct, as well as the username and password? Some usernames are just the first part of the email, some are the entire address.

If these are all 100% correct, try another client such as Thunderbird. If that doesn't work, it should confirm that it is the settings that are wrong, not Mail.

If you have a firewall running, or a router, I would also check to make sure port 110 isn't blocked.

It worked just all of a sudden one day it stopped working. My gmail works with mail. I can view my road runner account on the safri.

With the correct settings, you should have no problem viewing your RoadRunner email in mail.app. I am a RoadRunner customer, and although I forward all my mail to a different email service provider, I would be happy to help you if I can.
