The Zen plays mp3 audio files. So any music you have in iTunes that is in mp3 format will play. You probably have to drag and drop to the Zen, so in iTunes, select the song you want to transfer, then choose "Show song file" from the File menu. From there you can drag the song over to the Zen.
The Zen is nowhere near as well integrated end-to-end as the iPod, so you'll have to do all of this manually.
Your Zen will also play Windows Media audio files. I'd stay away from those or else you'll be disappointed should you ever get a real iPod--the iPod doesn't play Windows Media files.

Or you can just drag and drop the tracks directly from iTunes. That should automatically copy them to the Zen, assuming it shows up in the Finder like any other mounted volume.

Good point. That's a lot simpler.

If the Zen operates in such a way that you load songs onto it by simply dragging them to its volume in Windows Explorer, and iTunes operates the same way on Windows in this regard as it does on Macs, then it should work fine. But that's a lot of if's, and I don't have enough experience working with iTunes in Windows to tell you if this will work for sure. Since you already have the Zen, why don't you just try it and see if it works?
