I just got myself a entry level tablet and now trying it now on my Ibook 1.2Ghz with 1.25 RAM. It works perfectly well in my PC, but as the provided software only include PC compatible driver, in the Mac it only can moves, but can click and select.

I'm now wondering can all those Windows emulator in the market will be able to solve this problem, as for installing da drivers in the emulator. I read a lot of emulator threads in this forum and obviously many ppl ere use VPC. But I would prefer other option that is less power & RAM consuming cause I'll be using it on design softwares . And user friendly too, I'm pretty dumb with commands n stuffs.

BTW, this is the link to the tablet - http://www.geniusnet.com.tw/product/...p?pdtno=483#sr

Thanx in advance!

You can probably get the driver installed within some Windows emulator, but that won't help you one bit as far as using the tablet with any Mac applications. If you install drivers in VPC, they're used strictly within VPC. If you already have a PC, I can't imagine why you'd want to run anything in emulation.

Unless a third party has written Mac drivers for your tablet (and I highly doubt anyone has), you're probably out of luck. Perhaps you can put it on eBay and get one of the less-expensive Mac-compatible ones.. I'm sure some folks around here can give you recommendations.

If you can get rid of it, I strongly recommend the Wacom tablets. They're fantastic, cross-platform, and the software bundle is excellent (Photoshop Elements 3, Painter Essentials, etc.).

I forgot to mention, you should probably either bring up topic again in the Peripherals forum, or ask a Mod to move this thread there. Good luck.
