When I d/l and it's a .sit file, I always get a pop up box that asks to convert file, but it only lists text files.

The downloads are never successful because of this and I have known it to happen more with .sit files...

Anyone have any suggestions??

.sit files are "Stuffit" compressed files. Search for Stuffit expander to get the free version, download and install it, and then you'll be set.

And this really isn't about iBooks...I'm moving it to Applications.

What about when I d/l and get an uncompressed file. It asks for the same thing and the extractor program will not work.
