i'm a new mac switcher, and the salesman at the apple store convinced me to buy the dot mac service.

most people know about the whole slew of features it gives, and i caved and bought it when he mentioned it was 30 bucks off when you buy a new mac.

i dunno, i mainly bought it for the online video tutorials which i think are great for a switcher. but another thing that intrigued me was the idisk storage. 1 gig of storage on top of everything else is kinda cool.

the only problem is idisk syncing is painfully slow. it took me 4 minutes to transfer a 156k adobe illustrator document into a stupid folder! is this normal?! my internet connection seems fine!
