I just updated our macs to 10.4.2. In the past we'd used stationary pads as a template, but now when you open a stationary pad it creates a copy (in the same folder) and doesn't give you the option to name it. Is there a way to get back the old Stationary functionality (you'd open the file and be given the option to edit stationary or create a new one)?

I haven't used the Stationery Pad feature since the classic Mac OS and didn't realize it still existed in OS X's Finder. I'll have to check that out on both Panther and Tiger.
