I need to burn a 2.5 hour lecture onto a standard
DVD-R for a client. I've just purchased iDVD5.
Can this be done? I'm not yet fluent in DVDSP or
Compressor so the user-friendly iDVD is my 1st choice.

Any help here is appreciated. Thanks.

I guess I should add that I'm working
from a timeline in FCP 4.5 - if that
makes a difference. And the video is
one fixed camera on a tripod w/no motion.

my first guess is you will crash and burn unless you have a G6 with 2G ram etc etc. iDVD is lucky to burn 15 minutes. it hates chapters so leave those out. also burn a disk image and not direct to dvd, then burn to dvd with disk util.
