I installed Yellow Dog Linux on my internal hard drive and have Mac OSX on my MiniMate FW drive. What software is available for choosing which OS to boot into? While in Linux, it doesnt even see my FW hard drive and therefore putting "defaultos=macosx" in the yaboot.conf does not work.

Last time I checked you couldn't do that. The boot loader can only recognize different systems on separate partitions of the internal drive.

When you hold down the option key while booting up the Mac, both hard drives should be displayed and you should be able to choose which OS you want to boot. (A real boot manager would be a better solution, but I believe wataru is right.)
