It's hard to to search on "Safari frames" or even "Safari frameset" because I get hundreds of threads that meet just the "Safari frame" criterion... so here goes the question/phenomenon:
So I'm using Safari to do an Amazon's A9.com search (rather than Goo's) to look for "phantom opera plot summary" and I find an interesting article at Bibliomania, with link:
http://www.bibliomania.com/0/0/34/72 . What I get by hitting that link is *not* the full page, but a forward to
http://www.bibliomania.com/0/0/34/72/frameset.html - which just shows me a 1.5 x 3" section of a page.
But when I paste the url into FoxFire, I get the whole (Framed) page.
I don't have many haxies with my Safari 2.0.2 except PDF viewer and SafariSource. Has this long been an issue for Safari? Or is it just Bibliomania's approach to frames.
I never had the impression that other framed pages were losing anything in Safari?
Edit: Sorry, I can never remember to call it FireFox instead of FoxFire - esp. since I've got DeerPark version for G4 installed.
