I have a 2:40 football game in DV format that I'd like to be able to write to a single 4.7GB DVD-R.
iDVD checks the video length and will not let you write to neither a real DVD-R disk nor to an image file if the length is over 2 hours. I can understand the physical limitation with respect to the DVD-R. It would be a treat if I could at least write out the image file by somehow bypassing that check. Then I would take that image file and use PopCorn to squeeze it down to fit on the DVD-R.
Toast will let me write a DVD-video image file but the DVD menus leave something to be desired. I'd really like to be able to use iDVD for authoring.
