After reading the report about QT 7.0.4 being pulled and then reposted, I DL’d the stand-alone version, reinstalled it, and then Repaired Permissions.
But when I run DiskWarrior, at the conclusion of Step 10, upon being advised that the “Directory Was Successfully Replaced”, DW crashes. Since the repaired directory has, at this point, been replaced, there was no dire consequence. Still I sent the crash logs off to Apple and Alsoft, just to protect the innocent...
This occurred on my DP 800/10.4.4 and on a PB G4/10.3.9. In both cases I had installed QT 7.0.4.
Note: the above problem only occurred when running DW from one volume on another. It did not happen when I ran DW from the CD.
Reverting to QT 7.0.1 resolved the problem on both computers.
