Hi All,

Ok, I'm trying to use Automator with Photoshop (got the Automator PShop actions from: http://www.completedigitalphotograph...ndex.php?p=339)

I've got a wifi add-on for my camera, and it's copying (via ftp) files to my Mac. What I want to do is have the files land in a folder, and then Photoshop run one of it's own Actions on each file, and then have the file moved to a different folder (so that the Automator action doesn't act on the file again).

I can't find a way to attach an Automator workflow to a folder. I know that it has something to do with "Folder Actions". Can anyone help me out? I don't have to use AppleScript, do I? (I looked at the code for some of the Folder Actions Scripts that came with Tiger, and I've used some of that code to sort of make things work, but bad things happen to the files and I'm stuck)

I'm running Tiger.3 and PShop CS2 by the way.

Can anyone help me out?

Chas

I see that my thread arrived three times, my apologies (I can't see how to delete a post, just how to edit one?).

When I sumbmitted my post, I got an error message about the database, and I'm afraid that I just assumed that meant that my post didn't go through.
