The transfer of approx 3,000 photos went remarkably smooth and all the album and date data were retained successfully with perhaps a dozen or so exceptions noticed in some images which appeared to be listed with incorrect dates. No big deal.

This morning I thought I'd add an album of favorites and that too went without a hitch.

But, after breakfast and a restart, and now a permission repair, a plist toss and a library rebuild, iPhoto 6 Unexpectedly Quits at launch and I can not recover.

Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000004

PLEASE help!

Paul
