I have a lot of music in iTunes on my Powerbook G4, and iTunes beachballs for most things that I do. Sometimes it takes about 40 seconds after I press the spacebar for a song to stop playing. My computer otherwise runs normally, and I have a gig of RAM, so I don't think it's the computer itself. Is there anything I can do to alleviate iTunes, like give it more system resources or something?
