Does iweb have software to record podcast's or should I use garage band for that? Is iweb only used to integrate the podcast to the webpage.

use garageband. When you launch garageband in iLife06 it will ask you if you are doing a new podcast. Make a podcast, and within iWeb if you wish to link the podcast you can do so, it will also generate an rss feed for users to subscribe to if they wish.
