Whenever I try to publish a site I've created using iWeb I get a "publish error" message. iWeb uploads everything and then just as it is finishing (after an hour of uploading!) I get this error message. It refers to a problem with a specific photo but there should not be any problem with it. Has anyone encountered this and know how to fix it?
The full message is "Publish Error - An error occurred while publishing file "IMG_2353.jpg"."

In my case, I get errors for different images. I just keep on trying to publish. Eventually, the error would go away.

I have the same problem. It seems to be a different image each time and the image worked fine with iWeb 1 and I can open it with preview and iphoto. Hmm...

The "can't publish" error only occurred when I had a corrupted image...even though I had published the page many times before. Try removing the image that is causing the error, and then republish.

There's a thread on this in the Apple support forums. It seems, if you leave iWeb open after the error it will continue to publish your site, even though it appears that it isn't. If you open Activity Viewer and watch the network traffic, you'll that you're still sending data out. Leave iWeb open until this traffic drops off and your site will be published. The pages will still appear red in the left pane, but when you visit them they will have your changes.

I also get the same problem with one photo, which I then deleted ..publish and get another error notice with a different photo (same page) delete publish etc etc etc until I now have no photos on that page and then it uploaded no problem!!!
