I am in Japan on business for the next few months, and want to buy the new version of iLife. I understand that they have an Apple Store in Nagoya, which is where I am, but my question is this:

If I buy it here, will it be the same version, or will it be all in Japanese?

Or is there anywhere to buy it and download it online?

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

This has just been discussed here - it seems that if you buy the software, it will install in the same language that your OS is in.

This seems to apply to all Apple software.

No, it will install with all languages, as is the norm with Apple apps. If your default language is English, the iLife app will launch in English by default.

Nagoya, kuruu!
All Apple apps include all localizations -- only the box and the printed documentation is in Japanese

Does Apple still sell AppleWorks? And when was the last major release of AppleWorks again?

…Appleworks…
I find it amusing that every Apple reseller I've ever visited was well stocked with Appleworks. I mean, who buys it?

Perhaps they just have a lot of space copies they're hoping like hell to get rid of somehow.

But yeah.. with iWork and MS Office.. who would buy AppleWorks?
