I am not sure if I am at the right place. I attempted a little research, but you all are way over my head so please, if you answer, please explain as if you were talking to a 10 year old. I only learned yesturday what a "widget" is...

My question is... I am a member of another online forum. That forum allows you to post pics. Now, when I use "finder", open "applications" then opt iphoto, I see all my pics as I like. But when I go through an online route, it tells me to chose a file and automatically opens finder, or what looks just like it, again I click on applications then iphoto and it just stops there. iphoto does not open my pics for me to view, then choose one. Is this something I need to learn with my new computer or is it something to do with the websight and I should give up trying??

If I am not asking this in the correct forum, please let me know and I will ask again in the right one.

Be easy on me, I am new at this whole mac thing. Real new, like, a month, new.

Thanks in advance.

You're going to have to either manually navigate to the picture through the iPhoto library structure, or drag a picture from iPhoto to your desktop to create a copy and upload that. Then delete the copy.

I did what you said... I put it on my desktop then uploaded it then deleted the copy. It worked like a charm, so thank you very much!! I love posting pics and I thought this computer was gonna be difficult, so again...Thank you!!
