Is it possible to export (on a daily basis) the iCal event to be displayed on the desktop ?

I can imagine, that a simple text export could be displayed by the GeekTool, but is there something like an iCal.week -> text exporter ?

Cheers and thanks for ya help ...

One way to do it would be to use the "Save To PDF" print function. Then change your Desktop picture to the PDF.

I tried it, but for some reason it came out with the colours reversed (everything that was meant to be white was black). So I used Grap to take a screenshot of the PDF and used the resulting TIFF as the Desktop.

You need iCalViewer, which will display all upcoming appointments (however far ahead you want it to look—I look 72 hours) layered over your desktop and progressing toward the left.

It's the only thing that keeps me coming back to iCal. It's cheap and the developer is really responsive.
