ok, i want to edit a dvd(vob), but i have to convert it into a dv file to edit it in imovie or idvd. i used mpeg streamliner to export to dv (doesnt give the option to convert), and nothing. I really dont know what to do. i've tried many other programs, such as handbrake, openshiva, and maybe a few others, and cant open them in imovie or idvd.
the only thing i can thing of is recording from dvd player to a digital camcorder. would that change the file into a dv.
help, i am going crazy
