Hi,

Can I reduce the file size of a file using iPhoto?

I have a .jpg that is 600k, and I would like to reduce it down to about 100k. Is this possible? I don't want to change the overall dimensions, which is what "constain" appears to do. Can I use "constrain" to reduce the file size?

If iPhoto can't do this, can anyone suggest the easiest way to do this?

I assume there is any easy way to do this because I think it can automatically be done when attaching photos to Mail. My old PC had a cheapo program that did reduced file size very easily.

I tried using the iPhoto help and also searched around in this forum, but I couldn't find any info on this.

Use Preview. Save as Jpeg, low quality.
