Hey. Quick, easy question.....and I can't think that I'm the first person to want to do this.

Once I create a song in Garageband, I use "Import to iTunes" and it brings my song into iTunes so I can listen to it. It makes the file into a .aif file, so it is pretty large. I tried attaching it on Myspace, and it will only let me attach .Mp3 files, plus the AIF is too big. Long story short, how can I convert, or just save from the get go, a .mp3 file using Garageband or Logic Express.

Check the GarageBand preferences to see if there's different export settings.

Else, if you've set iTunes to import stuff as mp3 in iTunes's preferences, select the AIFF in iTunes, go to the Advanced menu --> convert selection to (whatever your iTunes import settings are)...

That's it.
